artsmethods@manchester is a programme of talks, workshops and events running throughout the academic year which explore approaches to arts research, research methods and the dissemination of arts & languages research at the University of Manchester and beyond. In the 2011/12 academic year, artsmethods@manchester organised 62 workshops and events - which were attended by around 1000 students in total.

Announcements

The 2012 artsmethods@manchester showcase took place from 09.30 to 13.00, Friday 21st September in Alan Turing G107. The showcase included a keynote from Professor Mark Llewellyn, Director of Research at the AHRC, followed by talks and poster presentations by current PGRs in the arts & languages.

artsmethods@manchester participated in this year's methods@manchester Methods Fair.

artsmethods@manchester also works closely with cultural partners across Manchester and the North West to enhance the impact and dissemination of arts and languages research.  We also work in collaboration with methods@manchester and the Humanities Researcher Development Team to offer relevant, effective and comprehensive professional development for researchers at various stages of their careers.
